Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 to 3 years of experience in hotel or related field
- Valid driver's license for the applicable state
- Ability to stand for entire shift
- Ability to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and 10 pounds frequently
- Flexible and long working hours sometimes required
- Maintain warm and friendly demeanor
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Attend required meetings and trainings
- Maintain attendance per scheduling needs
- Comply with BC Lynd standards and regulations
- Maintain confidentiality of information
- Ability to cross-train in other hotel areas
- Show initiative in anticipating guest and operational needs
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 to 3 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field
- Previous supervisory responsibility preferred
- College coursework in a related field helpful
- Valid driver's license for the applicable state
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize departmental functions
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
Job Duties
- Assist the Guest Services Manager with daily front desk operations
- Provide attentive, courteous, and efficient service to all guests before and during their stay
- Maximize room revenue and occupancy through effective management
- Supervise and train front desk staff
- Handle guest concerns and resolve issues promptly
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies and standards
- Maintain high standards of appearance and grooming for self and staff
