Job Requirements

  • Be at least 16 years of age
  • Work days, nights or weekends as required
  • Work in noisy, fast-paced environment with distracting conditions
  • Lift and carry up to 30 pounds
  • Stand and move about facility for long periods

  • Frequently reach, bend and stoop

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Experience in restaurant, retail or cashier roles preferred but not required
  • Strong communication skills with ability to interact positively with diverse guests
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Friendly and approachable personality with frequent smiling
  • Ability to read and communicate clearly in English
  • Ability to remain calm and professional when handling guest concerns
  • Commitment to maintaining a neat, clean and professional appearance
  • Basic math skills for transaction calculations
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including days, nights and weekends

Job Duties

  • Deliver an unparalleled guest experience through food, drinks and games in a fun environment
  • Greet guests with positivity and enthusiasm while coordinating game rentals, merchandise sales and telephone operations
  • Keep supervisors informed of problems or unusual situations and take corrective action or suggest alternatives
  • Bid farewell to guests ensuring satisfaction and inviting them to return
  • Prepare the shift area with necessary supplies including menus, silverware, power cards and gift cards
  • Review and maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk and host station
  • Conduct merchandise inventory during and after shifts if applicable
  • Foster cooperative and harmonious working relationships with team members to promote morale and productivity
  • Notify the manager of any unhappy guests and assist other team members as needed
  • Manage table turn timing by bussing and cleaning tables and rotate seating to ensure fairness
  • Handle guest flow from entry, manage wait times and communicate effectively with guests, team members and management
  • Deliver silverware as guests are seated and accurately process bill transactions
  • Greet and assist guests with transaction efficiency and reconcile cash as necessary
  • Complete to-go order transactions and sell merchandise if applicable
  • Maintain a friendly demeanor and professional appearance
  • Communicate clearly in English and respond calmly to dissatisfied guests, escalating issues to management as required
  • Follow dress code guidelines and meet age requirement of at least 16 years
