Job Requirements
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- must be willing and able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Superb written and verbal communication skills
- excellent organization and multi-tasking abilities
- judgment and decision making
- strong knowledge of MS office programs
- experience with Opera is a plus
- mathematics and reading comprehension
- strong attention to detail
Job Duties
- Greet, check-in, and assign rooms to guests in a friendly but efficient manner
- answer all guests’ questions, confirm reservations, and redirect phone calls to appropriate department when necessary
- monitor and update records of room availability and guests' accounts
- review accounts and charges with guests during the checkout process
- compute bills, collect payments, and make changes for guests accurately
- record guest comments or complaints, referring guests to managers as necessary
- attend monthly department meetings and training sessions as necessary
