Job Requirements

  • high school education and/or equivalent
  • up to one year of related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • demonstrated computer skills

  • demonstrated computer skills

Job Duties

  • prepare charts for admission of patients
  • admit patients and accurately process their paperwork
  • update patient demographics/information in center's PAS system
  • ensure patient has signed all required forms/documents as per center and regulatory guidelines
  • complete Medicare Secondary Payer Questionnaire for patients with Medicare as primary payer
  • copy patient identification and insurance cards
  • collect money due and document billing information
  • handle funds per office procedures
  • prepare reports for upcoming surgery schedules
  • receive, screen, and route incoming calls professionally
  • perform other business office duties as assigned
