- Previous experience in a customer support role
- professional written and verbal communication skills
- strong attention to detail with the ability to multi-task, set priorities, and manage time effectively
- team player mentality with the ability to openly communicate with management
- schedule flexibility to work Tuesday through Saturday, 7 am to 8 pm, including some weekends
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer support role
- strong written and verbal communication skills
- ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- team player with excellent communication skills
- knowledge of HIPAA guidelines preferred
- experience in technology troubleshooting preferred
- customer service experience in hospitality or restaurant industry is a plus
Job Duties
- Collaborate with the Office Manager to set goals, manage outcomes, and provide timely follow through for complex tasks
- create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for clients using active listening and empathetic communication
- follow check-in procedures ensuring accuracy of client demographics, balance collection, and scheduling
- process a high volume of inbound and outbound communications maintaining client privacy according to HIPAA
- become an expert in provider practice systems including messaging, scheduling, and intake
- provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to client and provider inquiries
- support provider scheduling and technology troubleshooting including patient portal and telehealth assistance
- maintain HIPAA compliance and ensure PHI security
- manage client complaints and escalate when necessary
- assess and recommend process improvements
- maintain a professional, welcoming office environment and promptly address facility needs
