Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • one year of prior experience in a related role or hospital clerical experience preferred
  • proficiency in operating office equipment
  • ability to handle patient data accurately
  • must be reliable and possess good communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • one year previous experience or some hospital clerical experience or medical terminology preferred
  • must have the skills necessary to operate office equipment required to fulfill job duties
  • medical terminology and computer experience beneficial
  • bilingual preferred
  • good communication skills

Job Duties

  • Admit patients and process their paperwork
  • update patient demographics and information in the system
  • collect monies due and document in the billing system
  • handle funds per office procedure
  • answer incoming phone calls
  • interface with patients, families, physicians, and staff
  • maintain smooth office operations
