Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in a healthcare or medical office setting preferred
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- ability to manage high volume multi-line phone system
- proficiency with computer applications and data entry
- excellent interpersonal skills
- ability to maintain professionalism and courtesy under stress
- reliable attendance and punctuality
- flexibility to adapt to changing work demands
Job Qualifications

- previous experience in a healthcare or medical office setting preferred

- ability to manage multiple phone lines effectively
- proficiency in computer applications including EMRs and practice management software

Job Duties
- Greeting patients and guests
- performing check-in procedures including confirming and entering patient demographics into practice management system
- assisting patients in completing consents, forms, and obtaining identification and insurance cards
- preparing charts for the following business day
- managing multi-line high volume calls and voicemails
- collecting all copays and balances due at the time of service
- notifying all scheduled patients of their financial responsibility prior to their date of service
- competently navigating and using all computer applications including practice management systems, EMRs, internet-based applications, and standard office applications
- relaying updates and information between patients, staff members, and providers to maintain smooth patient flow
- cross-training to assist with overflow responsibilities
- participating in group meetings and various committees
- performing other duties as assigned
