Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 0-2 years related experience or training preferred
  • Experience handling multiple phone lines preferred
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Must be available to work on Saturdays and Sundays

Job Duties

  • Ensure high quality customer service while following all safety protocols
  • Ensure a smooth flow of customers through the store
  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls in accordance with National Vision protocol
  • Process and understand managed care plans while obtaining document information from the insurance company as needed
  • Provide customers basic and accurate information
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, follow-up visits, and classes
  • File all patient records daily and pull patient files for the next day's appointments
  • Check order status and notify customers when orders are in or of any delays
  • Keep reception area tidy and presentable with all necessary materials
  • Receive, sort, distribute daily mail/deliveries and maintain inventory of office supplies
  • Participate in regularly scheduled mandatory communication meetings
