Job Requirements

  • Minimum one year medical office experience
  • strong communication skills
  • strong work ethic and dependability
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and multitasking
  • knowledge of electronic medical records (Epic) preferred but not required
  • high school graduate or equivalent (GED)

Job Duties

  • Greet patients
  • answer calls, take messages and re-direct calls as necessary
  • check patients in/out
  • enter all patient data quickly and efficiently
  • verify demographics and insurance during check-in
  • ensure all intake information is provided
  • collect co-pays/balances during the visit
  • schedule follow up appointments
  • prepare charts, scan/index medical records and perform other duties as assigned
