Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- two years college preferred
- prior experience in an administrative or receptionist role preferred
- proficiency in Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- excellent telephone communication skills
- ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 regulations
- capable of physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 pounds
- ability to work in a moderate noise office environment
- strong organizational skills
- friendly and professional demeanor

Job Duties
- Answer telephone and relay calls or messages
- maintain lobby cleanliness including watering plants and making coffee
- monitor incoming Sfax and route to appropriate recipients
- welcome patients and visitors by greeting in person or on the telephone, answering or referring inquiries
- greet admitting clients and families, assist with SAMS paperwork and manage luggage tagging
- accept and document incoming client personal items
- maintain security by following procedures, monitoring visitor logbook, and issuing visitor badges
- serve as backup for scheduling and maintaining appointments for various departments
- check Electronic Health Record for documentation accuracy and completeness
- sort incoming mail and distribute patient, HR, and C-suite mail appropriately
- input checks into daily EOB log and add to Lockbox
- process payments and ensure correct tracking according to Business Office procedures
- screen outgoing mail and client requests for compliance with 42CFR Part 2
- review and fulfill Worxhub requests from Medical Records
- perform all other assigned duties
