Job Requirements
- Authorization to work in the United States
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Flexibility to work shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Basic computer literacy
- Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment
Job Qualifications
- Previous front desk or front office experience preferred, especially in luxury environments
- Ability to work rotating shifts as required
- Strong communication skills with the ability to adapt to changes
- Experience working under pressure with customer service
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Good reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Excel proficiency
- Knowledge of Opera or equivalent property management system preferred
- Knowledge of the local Nashville area is an asset
Job Duties
- Welcomes and registers hotel guests, explaining accommodations and establishing payment methods
- Checks guests out, preparing and explaining billing
- Responds to a variety of guest requests by assessing needs and adding personal recommendations
- Works with guests pre-arrival and in-house to ascertain preferences and make insightful recommendations
- Conducts pre-arrival process to assist guests with arranging services such as tours, dining, and transportation
- Processes packages, faxes, messages, and mail accurately and timely
- Handles all guest interactions with professionalism and accommodates special requests
- Resolves guest complaints and assists with inquiries about hotel services, events, and local information
- Responds to guest requests via in-person, phone, chat, and email
- Utilizes software programs for communication and billing, including Opera and concierge systems
- Maintains updated desk collateral regarding local attractions and vendor contacts
- Performs other tasks or projects as assigned by management
