Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • basic computer skills
  • excellent verbal communication skills
  • prior customer service experience preferred
  • ability to work in person at Signal Hill, CA location
  • availability for part-time hours
  • willingness to relocate to Signal Hill, CA if not local

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role preferred
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to multitask and manage time effectively
  • basic computer proficiency including appointment scheduling
  • friendly and professional demeanor
  • ability to adapt and learn quickly about company services

Job Duties

  • Answer telephone, screen and direct calls
  • take and relay messages
  • provide information to callers
  • greet persons entering organization
  • direct persons to correct destination
  • deal with queries from the public and customers regarding ALL Bark! Bark! services
  • ensure knowledge of staff movements in and out of organization
  • provide general administrative and clerical support
  • prepare letters and documents
  • receive and sort mail and deliveries
  • schedule appointments
  • maintain appointment diary either manually or electronically
  • tidy and maintain the reception area
  • acclimate to Bark! Bark! services, prices, requirements etc quickly
