Job Requirements

  • Willingness to travel to other clinic locations
  • Willingness to assist in ambulatory surgery centers
  • Ability to lift 45 pounds
  • Comfortable seeing and handling blood
  • Availability to work part-time (2 days per week)
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • Experience using eClinicalWorks or other electronic health record (EHR) system preferred
  • Minimum 1-year clinical experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Excellent communication and multitasking skills
  • Ability to problem-solve effectively
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Comfortable with clinical duties and handling blood

Job Duties

  • Communicating directly with patients and their needs
  • Greeting patients by checking in, collecting copay, verifying insurance, and preparing charts
  • Checking out patients including scheduling, referring, and verifying prescriptions
  • Assisting patients to vehicles when necessary
  • Effectively processing messages between patients and administration or medical offices
  • Reporting to the office manager and/or practice administrator
  • Assisting in the ambulatory surgery centers as needed
