Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-year clinical experience preferred
  • experience using electronic health record systems preferred
  • willing to travel to multiple clinic locations
  • ability to lift up to 45 pounds
  • responsive and comfortable with seeing and handling blood
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to multitask
  • detail-oriented
  • willingness to cross-train on clinical responsibilities

Job Qualifications

  • Experience using eClinicalWorks or other electronic health record system preferred
  • 1-year clinical experience preferred
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to multitask and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment

  • comfortable seeing and handling blood

Job Duties

  • Communicating directly with patients and their needs
  • greeting patients including checking in, collecting copay, verifying insurance, and preparing charts
  • checking out patients by scheduling appointments, referring, and verifying prescriptions
  • assisting patients to vehicles when necessary
  • effectively processing messages between patients and administration or other medical offices
  • reporting to office manager and practice administrator
