Job Requirements

  • High school grad or equiv required
  • Experience with insurance carriers and pre-certification preferred
  • Ability to handle multiple phone lines and greet patients cheerfully
  • Knowledge of medical office procedures and terminology
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage payments accurately
  • Ability to work full time Monday through Thursday 9:30am to 8pm

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Prior experience in a healthcare or medical office setting preferred
  • Familiarity with insurance verification and pre-certification processes
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to manage payments and process transactions accurately
  • Proficient with scheduling software and phone systems
  • Demonstrated teamwork and flexibility

Job Duties

  • Cheerfully greets patients and checks them in for scheduled imaging services
  • Ensures pre-certification and verification have been obtained on all exams with patient insurance
  • Explains waivers and obtains necessary signatures prior to appointments
  • Forwards signed waivers to billing for processing
  • Processes payments for co-pays, deductibles, and co-insurance
  • Answers phones and schedules appointments efficiently
  • Supports other center and company needs as directed
