Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in medical reception or related field preferred
- Comfortable handling blood and clinical duties
- Must be willing to travel to different clinic locations
- Ability to lift 45 pounds
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Detail-oriented and able to multitask
- Availability to work part-time and flexible hours
- Willingness to assist in ambulatory surgery centers
- Capable of problem-solving in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in medical reception or similar role preferred
- Ability to handle blood and perform clinical tasks in ASC
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Willingness to travel between clinic locations
- Ability to lift up to 45 pounds
- Detail-oriented with problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with healthcare office procedures and insurance verification
Job Duties
- Communicating directly with patients and their needs
- Greeting patients, checking in, collecting copay, verifying insurance, preparing charts
- Checking out patients, scheduling, referring, verifying prescription based on individual needs
- Assisting patients to vehicle when necessary
- Effectively process messages between patients and administration or other medical offices
- Report to office manager and/or practice administrator
- Perform clinical duties in ambulatory surgery center including handling blood
