Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in healthcare or medical office preferred
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to multitask and problem-solve
  • comfortable handling blood
  • must be physically able to lift 45 pounds
  • willingness to travel to different locations
  • must work part-time
  • flexible schedule including some Fridays
  • detail oriented
  • willingness to cross-train

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in a healthcare or medical office setting preferred
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to multitask and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
  • comfortable with clinical responsibilities including handling blood
  • proficiency in insurance verification and patient scheduling systems
  • ability to lift up to 45 pounds
  • willingness to travel between clinic locations
  • ability to work part-time hours
  • detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Communicating directly with patients and their needs
  • greeting patients by checking in, collecting copay, verifying insurance, and preparing charts
  • checking out patients by scheduling, referring, and verifying prescriptions
  • assisting patients to their vehicles when necessary
  • effectively processing messages between patients and administration or medical offices
  • reporting to the office manager and/or practice administrator
