Job Requirements

  • experience with telephone switchboards
  • ability to use Canva for flyer creation

  • flexibility to work Tuesday through Saturday 9 am to 5 pm

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous receptionist or front desk experience preferred
  • proficiency with office equipment such as copy machines and telephone switchboards
  • basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and Canva

Job Duties

  • operate telephone switchboard
  • greet members and guests
  • schedule appointments for administrative staff
  • create event flyers using Canva
  • provide schedule and club information to members and guests
  • sort and distribute incoming mail
  • collect and post outgoing mail including overnight services
  • arrange and maintain member charge records
  • maintain supply of club information
  • fulfill guests' requests
  • perform general office tasks including word processing and filing
  • work on special projects
  • maintain supply inventories at reception
  • report unauthorized persons on premises
  • accept and input meal reservations
  • maintain member and guest records
  • update member mailing and telephone lists
  • process correspondence
  • operate front desk and lobby areas
  • assist with monthly mailing of statements
  • take food take-out orders
  • greet job applicants
  • control traffic flow in lobby
  • turn on lobby music
  • maintain reception area appearance
  • perform member-family relations tasks
  • manage lost and found
  • perform other duties assigned by manager on duty
