Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in customer service or receptionist role
- Ability to use Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to handle stressful or emotionally charged situations calmly
- Must be organized and detail oriented
- Ability to work Monday through Friday with occasional evenings or weekends
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer service or receptionist experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated empathy and patience when interacting with diverse populations
- Experience working in community-focused or nonprofit settings is a plus
Job Duties
- Greet visitors and clients warmly and professionally
- Answer phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately
- Maintain organization of the lobby and resource room ensuring materials are accessible
- Assist visitors with document management such as faxing and enrollment processes
- Collaborate closely with program staff to share relevant information with community members
- De-escalate tense situations using empathy and calm communication
- Use technology and digital tools to support communication and information sharing
