Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in customer service or receptionist role
  • Ability to use Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle stressful or emotionally charged situations calmly
  • Must be organized and detail oriented
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday with occasional evenings or weekends

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous customer service or receptionist experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated empathy and patience when interacting with diverse populations
  • Experience working in community-focused or nonprofit settings is a plus

Job Duties

  • Greet visitors and clients warmly and professionally
  • Answer phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately
  • Maintain organization of the lobby and resource room ensuring materials are accessible
  • Assist visitors with document management such as faxing and enrollment processes
  • Collaborate closely with program staff to share relevant information with community members
  • De-escalate tense situations using empathy and calm communication
  • Use technology and digital tools to support communication and information sharing
