Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role preferred
- strong communication skills
- ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- proficiency with office software and appointment scheduling systems
- ability to maintain confidentiality
- willingness to work in a fast-paced health and wellness environment

Job Duties
- Welcome and greet patients and visitors in person or on the telephone
- answer or refer inquiries
- optimize patients' satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization
- schedule appointments in person or by telephone
- comfort patients by anticipating patients' anxieties, answering patients' questions, maintaining the reception area
- maintain patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information
- record and update financial information, record and collect patient charges, control past due payments
- help patients in distress by responding to emergencies
- protect patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information
- maintain operation by following policies and procedures
