Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year of relevant front desk or administrative experience
- Strong communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience with EHR or EMR systems preferred
- Ability to multitask efficiently
- Professional appearance and punctuality
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year of front desk, receptionist, or administrative experience (medical office preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Experience with EHR or EMR systems is a plus
- Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and professional appearance and demeanor
Job Duties
- Greet and check in patients with professionalism and warmth
- Answer multi-line phones and route calls appropriately
- Schedule and confirm appointments using our EHR system
- Collect and verify insurance information and patient intake forms
- Take co-pays and other payments
- reconcile end-of-day reports
- Maintain a clean, organized front office and waiting area
- Coordinate with providers and clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow
- Respond to inquiries regarding services, insurance, and clinic policies
- Maintain privacy of patients: always assure patient confidentiality
- Attach all forms to proper patient records
- Maintain daily schedule
- Send out any/all referrals (MRI, Pain management referrals, etc.) either by Fax or Email
