Job Requirements
- Proven experience as a receptionist or customer service role preferably in a medical or dental office setting
- working knowledge of dentistry treatments, coding, and terminology
- proficiency in dental office software such as Dentrix and Microsoft Office including Excel and Word
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- compassionate and patient-centered approach to customer service
- ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion with patient information
- team player with effective collaboration skills
- professional demeanor and appearance
- coachable with willingness to learn and adapt
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out processes
- verify and update patient information accurately
- schedule and confirm patient appointments efficiently using practice management software
- manage incoming phone calls and emails professionally, addressing patient inquiries and scheduling changes
- verify insurance coverage and assist patients with understanding their benefits
- process insurance claims accurately
- maintain and update patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- assist with office administrative tasks including managing office supplies and coordinating referrals
- foster a positive and welcoming environment to ensure patient comfort and satisfaction
