Job Requirements

  • Proven experience as a receptionist or customer service role preferably in a medical or dental office setting
  • working knowledge of dentistry treatments, coding, and terminology
  • proficiency in dental office software such as Dentrix and Microsoft Office including Excel and Word
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

  • ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion with patient information

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out processes
  • verify and update patient information accurately
  • schedule and confirm patient appointments efficiently using practice management software
  • manage incoming phone calls and emails professionally, addressing patient inquiries and scheduling changes
  • verify insurance coverage and assist patients with understanding their benefits
  • process insurance claims accurately
  • maintain and update patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • assist with office administrative tasks including managing office supplies and coordinating referrals
  • foster a positive and welcoming environment to ensure patient comfort and satisfaction
