Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • one to three years of experience in a general office capacity preferred
  • medical background preferred
  • excellent telephone skills required
  • ability to work with ProCare computer system
  • ability to maintain a pleasant and professional demeanor under pressure
  • ability to read printed materials and computer screens
  • ability to sit for extended periods
  • capable of conducting business in person and on the telephone

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • ability to use ProCare computer system
  • experience in dealing with people under adverse conditions
  • bilingual English/Spanish abilities desirable but not mandatory

Job Duties

  • Greets patients in person and on the telephone
  • performs clerical duties related to patient/provider appointment scheduling
  • registers patients using the ProCare computer system
  • maintains a friendly, calm, and professional environment for patients and their families
  • handles patient data entry and manages appointment follow-ups
  • communicates effectively with patients and healthcare providers
  • adapts to changing workflows and requirements
