Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One to two years front desk and customer service experience
- Proficient in Office 365
- Comfortable using multiple phone lines
- Proof of current vaccinations including measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, hepatitis A and B, influenza, and COVID-19
- Ability to follow management or supervisor instructions and adapt to changing duties
- Willingness to work Monday through Friday full time
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One to two years front desk and customer service experience
- Proficient in Office 365
- Comfortable using multiple phone lines
- Experience in the medical field preferred
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Knowledge of patient registration and billing processes
Job Duties
- Filing of all scanned paperwork daily
- Fax clinic schedules to physicians for next clinic day
- Prepare travel chart weekly
- Open and distribute mail daily
- Verify nightly on-call with answering service
- Print schedule for following clinic day
- Verify that all progress notes and super-bills are attached
- Order office supplies
- Answer telephone calls including closed offices at different locations
- Page consultations to physicians with detailed information
- Make appointments for new and existing patients according to guidelines
- Handle and process billing information daily
- Handle and process dictation, letters, and physician orders daily
- Register patients and update demographics
- Collect co-payments and past due balances at check-in/check-out
- Coordinate and process referral information for managed care patients
- Process medical records requests
- Maintain hospital physician schedules
- Hospital invoicing
- Maintain physician on-call schedule
- Perform other duties as assigned
