Job Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or GED
- At least two years of front office experience preferably in a medical environment
- One to two years of customer service experience
- Ability to travel to other sites as necessary
- Ability to work full-time
- Must pass pre-employment background check
- Must maintain HIPAA compliance
- Ability to type 40 words per minute

- Minimum of two years front office experience preferably in a medical setting
- One to two years of customer service experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Proficient knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-9, and CPT-4 codes
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient computer and database skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Compassionate and patient attitude
- Maintain HIPAA compliance
- Multitasking and proactive problem-solving skills
- Ability to type 40 words per minute
Job Duties
- Create a positive and professional first impression of the practice
- Schedule appointments and assist with scheduling additional testing directed by the physician
- Ensure all required patient paperwork is compiled for the day's appointments
- Collect co-pays and past balances and enter them into the batch for the day in Practice Management
- Review and enter patient demographics and clinical information into Practice Management and EHR
- Scan patient driver’s license and insurance cards into Ntierprise
- Ensure required referrals are obtained, scanned, and linked to appointments within Practice Management
- Reconcile payment batches daily and submit to Site Manager
- Schedule follow-up procedures and coordinate local ASC cases
- Assist patients with Phreesia registration system completion
- Travel to other sites within a reasonable geographic region as required
