Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in assisted living or similar setting preferred
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Basic typing and ten key adding machine proficiency
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Good interpersonal skills with all levels of staff, residents, families, and the public
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends shifts
  • Capability to sit for extended periods and occasionally lift 1-20 pounds
  • Visual acuity and good hearing

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in an assisted living or senior care environment preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic clerical skills including typing and filing
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple interruptions
  • Team player with good conflict resolution abilities

Job Duties

  • Provide information and referral to residents, visitors, staff, and prospective clients in a positive, service-oriented manner
  • Perform typing, filing, and light bookkeeping tasks
  • Handle multiple interruptions gracefully
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of staff, residents, families, and the public
  • Maintain a pleasant and welcoming demeanor
  • Collaborate as a team member
  • Adhere to universal precautions and safety standards
