Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum two years customer service experience
- Preferably medical office experience
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to perform accurate data entry
- Ability to multitask and work in a team environment
- Must demonstrate empathy and professionalism
- Ability to stay composed under pressure

Job Duties
- Greet and check in patients with a smile and eye contact before the patient reaches the desk if possible
- Obtain and update patient demographic information, including scanning insurance cards
- Print patient demographic pages for signature and financial policy acknowledgement
- Provide patients with privacy notices
- Place patient charts in the bin for clinic staff to pick up
- Check patients out by scheduling next appointments or recalls, entering charges, payments, and adjustments
- Process end-of-day reports and deposits, fax or file accordingly
- Follow up with patients who did not show for appointments according to guidelines
- Assist with general office duties and other tasks as requested
