Job Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or GED
- Two years of front office experience, preferably medical
- One to two years of customer service experience
- Ability to travel to other sites as necessary

- One to two years of customer service experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Proficient knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-9, and CPT-4 codes
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient computer software and database skills
- Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to ask probing questions to patients
- Demonstrated caring, compassionate, and patient attitude
- Maintain HIPAA compliance
- Multitasking and proactive problem-solving skills
Job Duties
- Create a positive and professional first impression of the practice
- Schedule appointments and assist with additional testing scheduling directed by physicians
- Compile all required patient paperwork for daily appointments
- Collect co-pays and past balances at check-in and enter payments into practice management system
- Review and enter patient demographics and clinical information into practice management and EHR
- Scan patient driver’s license and insurance cards into the system
- Obtain, scan, and link required referrals to daily appointments
- Reconcile payment batches at the end of each day and submit to site manager
- Schedule follow-up procedures and coordinate local ASC cases
- Assist patients with completion of Phreesia registration system
- Travel to other sites within a reasonable geographic region as needed
