Job Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- One year previous experience or some health care clerical experience or medical terminology preferred
- Must have skills needed to operate required office equipment
- Medical terminology and computer experience beneficial
- Strong communication skills
- Reliable, dedicated, personable, and professional
- Ability to handle confidential patient information with discretion
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Interface with patients and families, physicians, vendors, and staff
- Admit patients and process their paperwork
- Update patient demographics and information in the system
- Collect balances due and document in the billing system
- Handle funds according to office procedure
- Answer incoming phone calls
- Assist with chart preparation and other business office duties
- Coordinate with office on scheduling for procedures and anesthesia coverage
- May be asked to float to other locations for staff coverage
- Maintain reliability, professionalism, and strong attention to detail
