Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous customer service or administrative experience
  • proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to handle stressful or emotionally charged situations calmly
  • organized and proactive work style
  • availability to work Monday through Friday with occasional evenings or weekends

Job Duties

  • greet visitors and neighbors warmly as the first point of contact
  • assist visitors with enrollment and program information
  • answer incoming phone calls and direct them appropriately
  • maintain organization and accessibility of lobby and resource room materials
  • collaborate with program staff to stay informed and share event and resource information
  • de-escalate tense situations with empathy and calm confidence
  • support internal communication and teamwork at the front desk
