Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Greet all visitors and employees
  • answer incoming phone calls and route to the appropriate employee or department
  • assist walk in customers or vendors by contacting the appropriate department
  • update the policies and procedures for the front desk as appropriate
  • accept and distribute incoming packages
  • order office supplies and distribute to employees as needed
  • retrieve faxes sent to the corporate fax line and route or handle as appropriate
  • assist with general member services questions as able based on phone volume
  • coordinate, place and pick up refreshments and food as requested
  • ensure the lobby area is kept clean and in good maintenance
  • notify facility personnel if not
  • handle and/or assist with any incoming street mail on a daily basis
  • coordinate and maintain the scheduling for the front desk coverage with member services manager lunches and absences
  • complete weekly/monthly scorecard for front desk
  • research and respond to member and provider inquiries regarding benefits and claims through email and portal systems
  • send out required documents and communications for the member services department via email
  • sort and distribute return mail for all departments
  • assist with other duties as assigned
