Institute For Orthopedics & Chiropractic (IOC) is a well-established, busy multi-specialty clinic specializing in non-surgical treatment of orthopedic conditions. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in medical office setting preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Apple computers and related software
  • Ability to handle multi-line phone systems
  • Availability to work full-time including occasional Saturdays
  • Willingness to travel between Edina and St Paul locations as needed

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a medical office preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to use Apple computers and software
  • Knowledge of medical scheduling software such as Jane
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Passionate about healthy living and patient care

Job Duties

  • Greeting patients
  • Collecting copays and balances
  • Preparing paperwork for upcoming appointments
  • Communication with patients and doctors
  • Verifying insurance benefits
  • Complete prior authorizations and referrals
  • Answer multi-line phone and scheduling for two locations
  • Explains insurance benefits to the patients
  • Optimizing provider schedules and patient satisfaction with efficient scheduling
