- 1-2 years of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting
- strong communication skills
- proficiency with EMR and scheduling software
- ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- knowledge of medical terminology is preferred
- flexible to rotate between front desk and call center
- reliable transportation for multiple office locations
Job Qualifications

- additional education or medical office training is a plus
- 1-2 years of previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR), scheduling software, and basic computer skills
- ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- knowledge of medical terminology is a plus
- willing to rotate between the front desk and call center
- reliable transportation to be able to work at multiple Fraser Eye Care Center office locations
Job Duties
- Greet patients and visitors with a warm and welcoming demeanor
- register new patients and update existing patient information in our practice management system
- verify patient insurance information
- answer phone calls in a high-volume call center, triage, route calls to appropriate staff, schedule appointments, and take messages when necessary
- contact patients to remind them of upcoming appointments
- process patient payments accurately and provide receipts
- balance payments received at the end of each day
- manage incoming patient referrals and requests for medical records
- run daily and weekly reports
- maintain a clean and organized front desk area
- always ensure patient confidentiality and privacy
- assist patients with inquiries, forms, and any other administrative support they may need
- collaborate with medical staff to ensure a seamless patient experience
