Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-2 years experience in a medical office or surgery center front desk role preferred
- Knowledge of patient registration, scheduling, and EMR systems
- Experience with insurance verification and payment processing
- Excellent customer service and patient engagement skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficient in scheduling, data entry, and medical documentation
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous experience in a healthcare front desk, medical office, or customer service setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both in person and over the phone
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and basic office software
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Professional demeanor and a team-oriented mindset
Job Duties
- Greet and check in patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
- Verify patient information, insurance details, and required documentation prior to appointments
- Answer incoming phone calls, schedule procedures, and direct inquiries appropriately
- Collect co-pays and ensure accurate posting of patient payments
- Maintain confidentiality of all patient records in compliance with HIPAA standards
- Support the business office and clinical team with administrative tasks as needed
- Assist with patient flow to ensure timely and efficient operations throughout the day
