Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years experience in a medical office or surgery center front desk role preferred
  • Knowledge of patient registration, scheduling, and EMR systems
  • Experience with insurance verification and payment processing
  • Excellent customer service and patient engagement skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Proficient in scheduling, data entry, and medical documentation

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Previous experience in a healthcare front desk, medical office, or customer service setting preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both in person and over the phone
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and basic office software
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional demeanor and a team-oriented mindset

Job Duties

  • Greet and check in patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
  • Verify patient information, insurance details, and required documentation prior to appointments
  • Answer incoming phone calls, schedule procedures, and direct inquiries appropriately
  • Collect co-pays and ensure accurate posting of patient payments
  • Maintain confidentiality of all patient records in compliance with HIPAA standards
  • Support the business office and clinical team with administrative tasks as needed
  • Assist with patient flow to ensure timely and efficient operations throughout the day
