Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 0-2 years related experience or training preferred
- Strong customer service skills required
- Strong organizational skills required
- Ability to handle multiple phone lines preferred
- Experience as a receptionist or front office representative preferred but not required

Job Duties
- Ensure high quality customer service while following all safety protocols
- Ensure a smooth flow of customers through the store
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls in accordance with National Vision protocol
- Process and understand managed care plans while obtaining document information from the insurance company as needed
- Provide customers basic and accurate information
- Schedule and confirm appointments, follow-up visits and classes
- File all patient records daily and pull patient files for the next day's appointments
- Check order status and notify customers when orders are in or of any delays
- Keep reception area tidy and presentable with all necessary materials
- Receive, sort, distribute daily mail/deliveries and maintain inventory of office supplies
- Participate in regularly scheduled mandatory communication meetings
