Job Requirements
- minimum high school diploma or GED
- at least two years of front office experience preferably in medical setting
- one to two years of customer service
- excellent communication skills
- ability to use computer and database software
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- willingness to travel to other sites

- ability to maintain confidentiality
- commitment to HIPAA compliance
Job Qualifications
- minimum high school diploma or GED

- one to two years of customer service experience
- excellent customer service skills
- attention to detail and willingness to learn
- proficient knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-9, and CPT-4 codes
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- proficient computer software and database skills
- ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment
- willingness to ask probing questions to patients
- caring, compassionate, and patient attitude
- ability to maintain HIPAA compliance
- strong multitasking and proactive problem-solving skills
Job Duties
- create a positive and professional first impression for patients
- schedule appointments and assist with additional testing scheduling
- ensure all required patient paperwork is compiled for appointments
- collect co-pays and past balances during check-in and enter into practice management system
- enter patient demographics and clinical information into Practice Management and EHR
- scan patient driver’s licenses and insurance cards into Ntierprise
- ensure required referrals are obtained and linked in the system
- reconcile payment batches daily and turn in to Site Manager
- schedule follow-up procedures and coordinate local ASC cases
- assist patients with completion of Phreesia registration system
- travel to other sites within a reasonable geographic region as required
