Job Requirements

- Previous experience in a healthcare administrative role preferred
- Knowledge of insurance verification and patient scheduling
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- Knowledge of medical insurance terminology and procedures
- Ability to multitask and manage front desk operations efficiently

Job Duties
- Cheerfully greets, arrives and checks patients in for scheduled imaging services
- Ensures pre-certification and verification have been obtained on all exams with patient's insurance company
- Knowledge of insurance carriers such as Medicare and procedures that require waivers, obtains authorization if needed prior to appointment
- Explains waivers to patients, obtains signatures, and forwards to billing for processing
- Processes payments for co-pays, deductibles, and co-insurance
- Answers phones and schedules appointments
- Supports other center and company needs as directed
