Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- At least one year of hotel management experience
- Minimum one year in a leadership role
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to walk on slick and uneven surfaces
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Background check required
- Driver verification required
- Minimum age 21
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in hotel management preferred
- At least one year in hotel management with a minimum of one year in a leadership role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
- Familiarity with SMS, Inntopia, Breezeway, and Onity preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills
- Strong customer service and sales experience highly preferred
- Working knowledge of accounting functions
- Proficiency in English reading, writing, and communication
Job Duties
- Manage hiring, firing, scheduling, payroll, and daily supervision of staff in a dynamic, high-volume environment
- Ensure exceptional guest service through successful management of the front office
- Address and resolve guest and owner complaints professionally, empowering staff to handle issues effectively
- Maintain labor and departmental expenses within budget guidelines
- Serve as the technical expert for front office operations, collaborating closely with housekeeping and maintenance teams for seamless lodging experiences
- Provide shift coverage based on business needs, including 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, and night audit (11pm-7am)
- Participate in on-call manager-on-duty rotation to support staff during evening hours
- Reconcile departmental accounting (reservations, owner accounts, group balances) and supervise bell staff and group porterage while supporting the Lodging Operations Manager
- Other duties as assigned
