- computer skills required
- familiarity with Microsoft Office preferred

Job Duties
- Leadership and mentoring role for hotel front office employees
- maintain complete knowledge of all front office department policies and service procedures
- maintain knowledge of all hotel features and services, room types, rates, special packages and promotions, daily arrivals, departures, room availability, scheduled group activities
- conduct daily walk-throughs of front office areas to observe staffing, appearance, operational cleanliness, maintenance, service quality, organization, and inventory
- prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly departmental financial and payroll forecasts
- monitor and handle guest comments
- monitor security of public hotel areas
- establish par levels for supplies and equipment
- monitor effectiveness of departmental staffing guide
- provide training, development, professional discipline and positive support for all department employees
- monitor interviewing and selection of departmental positions
- create and maintain a quality, professional work environment
- administer performance evaluations
- anticipate guests and employees needs and respond promptly
- promote positive guest relations
- conduct pre-shift meetings
- facilitate departmental strategic planning meetings
