Job Requirements

  • Food handler's license and liquor server permits as required by state law or ability to obtain
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Reliable and consistent attendance
  • Must be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand and arm movements frequently
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds occasionally and exert up to 20 pounds of force
  • Must be able to bend, squat, crawl, kneel, push, pull, and walk on uneven surfaces occasionally
  • Must be able to walk outside in various weather conditions
  • Must be able to climb stairs inside and outside in various weather conditions

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • 3 plus years of management experience preferred
  • Hospitality or hotel work experience preferred
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage multi-departmental teams
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Ability to handle guest complaints and resolve issues effectively
  • Proficient with reservations and billing systems
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to train and mentor staff
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Good decision-making and problem-solving abilities

Job Duties

  • Welcome guests with a polished and professional demeanor, overseeing smooth check-in and check-out processes
  • Provide detailed information about the hotel, amenities, and local recommendations
  • Handle guest complaints, requests, and concerns with professionalism and discretion
  • Communicate frequently with housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage staff to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Monitor guest satisfaction scores and implement improvements
  • Ensure accurate room inventory management and update reservations system
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth operations
  • Handle VIP guest requests and special accommodations
  • Supervise and evaluate front desk staff performance, providing training and guidance
  • Implement company programs and daily front desk operations compliance
  • Review billing disputes and ensure accuracy
  • Manage scheduling, attendance records, and address discrepancies
  • Lead pre-shift meetings and inform the team of daily priorities
  • Train and mentor front desk staff, conduct performance evaluations
  • Maintain integrity, confidentiality, and sensitivity in all interactions
  • Complete daily activity logs and maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
  • Adhere to attendance policies with reliable availability
  • Participate in additional hotel duties as assigned
