Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or secondary qualification or equivalent
  • Experience with Opera Cloud
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language used in the workplace
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic computational and computer skills
  • Extensive knowledge of the hotel, its services, and facilities
  • General knowledge of the city and its attractions
  • Ability to stand and move for up to 4 hours
  • Ability to exert mobility to reach other departments timely
  • Ability to lift up to 15 lbs occasionally
  • Manual dexterity to operate necessary equipment
  • Ability to handle repetitive motions, bending, climbing, and good visual and auditory abilities
  • Ability to view computer screens for extended periods
  • Strong problem-solving, reasoning, motivating, and training skills
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Passion for people and service
  • Strong communication and writing skills
  • Basic math skills for cash and credit handling

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Front Office Supervisor, Assistant Manager, or similar role in a full-service hotel
  • Strong leadership skills with a hands-on, service-first approach
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
  • Tech-savvy with experience using Opera Cloud hotel systems
  • Passion for hospitality and team development
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with Opera Cloud

Job Duties

  • Manage and lead the operations of the front desk and night audit to ensure optimal service and hospitality
  • Lead, train, and motivate the front desk team to deliver exceptional service daily
  • Oversee daily front office operations including smooth check-ins, check-outs, and guest satisfaction
  • Prepare department schedules based on labor standards, forecast occupancy, and business needs
  • Review and approve department payroll
  • Be knowledgeable about the local area, hotel, and services
  • Maintain professionalism and positive conduct
  • Partner with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
  • Resolve guest concerns promptly and effectively
  • Participate in recruitment, training, and development of front office staff
  • Conduct performance and salary reviews
  • Maintain open communication with all departments
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures
  • Lead the Health and Safety Committee
  • Promote accident prevention and emergency procedures
  • Provide coverage for vacation days and time off
  • Identify and record special billing instructions
  • Perform other tasks as directed by the General Manager
