Job Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
- 1 to 3 years hospitality related experience including front desk operations
- Ability to work varied schedule including holidays, weekends, and alternate shifts
- Capability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 pounds
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Commitment to following safety and sustainability policies
Job Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
- 1 to 3 years hospitality related experience including front desk operations
- Strong leadership and coaching skills
- Excellent guest service and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Proficiency with hotel management software and financial controls
- Understanding of brand standards and guest satisfaction metrics
Job Duties
- Interview, select, train, schedule, coach and support associates ensuring brand standards are met
- Oversee all front office operations in the absence of the Assistant General Manager
- Participate actively at the front desk including checking in/out guests and handling guest requests
- Resolve guest complaints by conducting thorough research and determining effective solutions
- Respond to brand Guest Alerts for resolution
- Monitor guest satisfaction scores and work to increase them
- Participate in lobby ambassador activities to build relationships with guests
- Assist in hotel food and beverage operations when needed
- Monitor front office financial operations ensuring compliance with accounting controls
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and department-wide financial planning
- Review guest correspondence and incident logs and direct staff accordingly
- Communicate updates from brand standards and procedures to staff
- Manage front office supplies and gift shop inventory
- Collaborate with Sales to maintain group rooming lists
- Monitor guest room occupancy to minimize overbooking
- Follow sustainability practices as per HHM's EarthView program
- Practice safe work habits and comply with OSHA standards
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
