Job Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 1 to 3 years hospitality related experience including front desk operations
  • Ability to work varied schedule including holidays, weekends, and alternate shifts
  • Capability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 pounds
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Commitment to following safety and sustainability policies

Job Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 1 to 3 years hospitality related experience including front desk operations
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills
  • Excellent guest service and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Proficiency with hotel management software and financial controls
  • Understanding of brand standards and guest satisfaction metrics

Job Duties

  • Interview, select, train, schedule, coach and support associates ensuring brand standards are met
  • Oversee all front office operations in the absence of the Assistant General Manager
  • Participate actively at the front desk including checking in/out guests and handling guest requests
  • Resolve guest complaints by conducting thorough research and determining effective solutions
  • Respond to brand Guest Alerts for resolution
  • Monitor guest satisfaction scores and work to increase them
  • Participate in lobby ambassador activities to build relationships with guests
  • Assist in hotel food and beverage operations when needed
  • Monitor front office financial operations ensuring compliance with accounting controls
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and department-wide financial planning
  • Review guest correspondence and incident logs and direct staff accordingly
  • Communicate updates from brand standards and procedures to staff
  • Manage front office supplies and gift shop inventory
  • Collaborate with Sales to maintain group rooming lists
  • Monitor guest room occupancy to minimize overbooking
  • Follow sustainability practices as per HHM's EarthView program
  • Practice safe work habits and comply with OSHA standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
