Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in hospitality or hotel front desk position preferred
  • Proficiency with hotel reservation software systems preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
  • Guest-focused mindset
  • Capability to lead and work within a team environment
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a hotel environment preferred
  • Prior experience working with a hotel reservation software system highly preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Approachable, personable and courteous
  • Guest-first attitude
  • Knowledge of the property, amenities and surrounding area
  • Ability to lead and motivate team members
  • Prior experience of hotel operation systems such as Lightspeed, Hotsos, Birchstreet preferred

Job Duties

  • Assist in training and holding team members accountable
  • Enhance guest experiences by ensuring adherence to F.I.E.L.D. Guide standards
  • Resolve guest inquiries and/or concerns quickly, efficiently and courteously
  • Maintain open interdepartmental communication
  • Assist management with scheduling needs as assigned
  • Conduct regular checks of service to identify any areas of improvement
  • Process cash or credit card payments and maintain a balanced account
  • Monitor rooms throughout allotted shift time, ensuring accuracy
