Job Qualifications

  • Intermediate language skills including reading and interpreting safety rules and instructions
  • ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • ability to speak effectively before groups
  • basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and computing rate, ratio, and percent
  • computer literacy with knowledge of Excel, Zendesk, Microsoft Office, email, and internet
  • typing speed of at least 25 wpm
  • strong multitasking ability in a fast-paced environment
  • good work ethic and ability to work in a team
  • organizational skills including filing and labeling
  • attention to detail
  • friendly and engaging personality

Job Duties

  • Greet and serve office guests politely
  • enter customer orders as needed
  • fulfill and organize customer orders in the distribution center
  • correctly receive and process customer returns
  • maintain open communication with customer service and remote teams
  • locate and adjust inventory counts
  • measure, weigh and confirm product parts
  • update product descriptions
  • contact shipping companies for services
  • utilize software like Zendesk for customer inquiries
  • read and respond to tickets including calls, chats, and emails
  • resolve product, account, return, and order issues
  • issue refunds or credit
  • report business discrepancies
  • suggest workflow improvements
  • contribute to customer service and distribution tasks
  • keep work area clean and organized
  • decorate front desk area for events
  • contact customers to reconcile return discrepancies
  • make outbound sales calls
  • assist with inventory quality control
  • package in-house brand products
  • participate in internal employee swaps
