Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum one year experience in guest service or hospitality industry
- strong communication skills
- ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure
- well-groomed and professional appearance
- ability to perform major life activities including standing, lifting up to 30 pounds, bending, and stretching
- availability to work varied shifts including holidays, weekends, and evenings
- ability to push or pull 60 pounds
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of one year experience in a guest service or related role
- ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- proficiency in computer and property management systems
- professionalism in appearance and attitude
- ability to handle guest interactions with empathy and patience
- capable of working varied schedules including weekends, holidays, and evenings
- physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform lifting and bending tasks as required
Job Duties
- Increase guest satisfaction by providing efficient and courteous guest service in accordance with hotel standards
- execute selling strategies to enhance hotel revenue
- understand and implement the mission statement, values, and culture at all times
- communicate with guests and co-workers effectively
- receive and transmit mail, phone, and written messages and relay pertinent information using log books
- manage time effectively and multitask
- assist with guest issues professionally maintaining a hospitable attitude
- operate property management systems to post charges, compute bills, collect payments, and make changes
