Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year of previous front desk or related hospitality experience
- Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office and hotel management software
- Typing speed of at least 50 words per minute
- Ability to communicate professionally both verbally and in writing
- Must demonstrate calmness and positive attitude under pressure
- Energetic and outgoing personality
- Service-oriented with excellent customer care skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Capability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of basic arithmetic
- Commitment to company policies, safety, and security procedures
- Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts as required
- Ability to travel occasionally for hotel familiarization and other business needs
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Prior experience of 1+ year in front desk or related hospitality roles
- Knowledge of computer software including Microsoft Office and hotel management systems
- Ability to type at least 50 words per minute
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must be service oriented with excellent customer service skills
- Capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
- Must be able to read, write, and understand English
- Bi-lingual fluency is a plus
Job Duties
- Greet and register guests at Hotel Winters
- Make and modify reservations
- Assist with hotel operator and concierge duties as needed
- Maintain knowledge of hotel features, services, room types, rates, and promotional packages
- Process guest check-ins by confirming reservations and reviewing all necessary information
- Communicate hotel services and amenities to guests
- Maintain and balance room availability daily
- Handle VIP and upgraded accommodations
- Resolve guest complaints to ensure satisfaction
- Maintain organized work area and ensure accuracy of assigned bank
- Collaborate with Front Office Manager and other staff to review assignments and priorities
- Answer department telephone within 3 rings, with correct greeting and etiquette
- Take and relay messages accurately and promptly
