Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 1 year previous front desk experience
  • Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office and typing speed of 50wpm
  • Ability to work under pressure and multitask
  • Must be service oriented with excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to communicate professionally and follow directions with accuracy
  • Must be a team player able to work with minimal supervision
  • Knowledge of arithmetic and data input
  • Confidentiality and discretion in handling guest information
  • Ability to work primarily during business hours with occasional weekend or holiday shifts
  • Willingness to travel as needed for hotel familiarization and content creation

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • College degree preferred
  • Minimum 1 year previous front desk experience in hotel or related administration
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and web analytics tools
  • Experience with OPERA or other hotel management systems preferred
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to sustain composure and maintain professionalism under pressure
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English
  • Bi-lingual fluency a plus

Job Duties

  • Register guests and provide excellent guest service
  • Make and modify reservations and assist with hotel operator or concierge duties
  • Communicate hotel features, services, and amenities to guests
  • Process guest check-ins and handle guest accounts accurately
  • Resolve guest complaints and document requests or issues
  • Maintain guest history files and manage room availability
  • Maintain organized, clean work area and handle assigned bank securely
