Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous hospitality or front desk experience
  • proficiency with computerized systems
  • strong communication skills in English
  • mathematical competency
  • ability to handle multiple tasks calmly
  • punctuality and professionalism
  • willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree desired
  • previous related hospitality or front desk experience strongly preferred
  • comfort in a computerized environment essential
  • effective communication skills with guests and team members
  • ability to read, write, and perform mathematical computations
  • excellent verbal and telephone skills
  • ability to remain calm and organized under multiple demands
  • ability to follow directions accurately and efficiently

Job Duties

  • Complete and stay current on all Embassy and Hilton Worldwide mandated training and certifications
  • accurately make reservations for guests staying with hotel
  • protect the security and privacy of guests and clients including key control and credit card procedures
  • check guests into the hotel following proper steps and verifying payment
  • check guests out of the hotel and provide a fond farewell
  • communicate with bell and driver staff for timely guest pick up and drop off
  • record and manage wakeup calls accurately
  • assist guests with billing inquiries
  • assist and direct guests to meeting rooms and stay informed on current and upcoming meetings
  • provide knowledgeable information about surrounding attractions and hotel amenities
  • assist management with day-to-day arrivals and HHonors assignments
  • exceed guest expectations through exemplary performance and guest feedback
  • contribute to a team culture that fosters cooperation and superior service
  • ensure brand standards of operations, safety, and services are maintained
  • ensure all front desk processes are executed correctly to protect revenues and follow financial control procedures
  • assist with group information entry and banquet billing
  • coordinate with Housekeeping and Engineering to fulfill guest requests and maintain hotel condition
