Job Requirements
- At least 16 years of age and enrolled in high school
- CPR certification required within 30 days of employment
- Ability to perform medium work including lifting 20 to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods
- Ability to stoop, bend, reach and grab with arms and hands
- Proficiency in computer data entry and software use
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivation and ability to multi-task
Job Qualifications
- High school enrollment or equivalent
- One year of customer service experience preferred
- CPR certification within 30 days of employment
- Computer skills including data entry and information retrieval
- Proficient with Windows applications and various role-specific software
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to multi-task and self-motivate
Job Duties
- Performs all assigned duties while providing excellent customer service by welcoming and interacting with members/guests
- proactively solving problems and addressing member concerns
- Remains knowledgeable and provides information on all programs and services including but not limited to Membership, Kidsports, Childcare, Gymnastics, Group fitness training and Aquatics
- Enforces all fitness center policies
- Maintains a clean and safe work environment
- Performs tasks such as cash handling and bookings, childcare, monitors children and supervises children in scheduled areas of the facility
- Other related duties as required
