Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One or more years of relevant experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Physical capability to lift up to 30 pounds and push or pull 60 pounds
- Willingness to work varied shifts including holidays, weekends, and evenings
- Excellent attendance record
- Ability to perform major life activities such as bending, stretching, and communicating
Job Qualifications
- One or more years of experience as a guest service associate or in a related hospitality role
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and stay detail-oriented
- Proficiency with property management systems
- Professional and well-groomed appearance
- Ability to maintain a hospitable attitude under pressure
Job Duties
- Increase guest satisfaction by providing efficient and courteous guest service in accordance with hotel standards
- Adhere to guidelines and procedures
- Execute selling strategies to enhance hotel revenue
- Understand and implement the hotel's mission statement, values, and culture at all times
- Communicate with guests and co-workers effectively
- Receive and transmit mail, phone, and written messages
- Relay pertinent information using log books
- Manage time effectively
- Assist with guest issues with professionalism and a hospitable attitude
- Operate property management systems to post charges, compute bills, collect payments, and make changes
